No fewer than 250 participants from 20 countries are expected to attend the Rencontres Internationales Antoine de Saint-Exupéry meeting organised by the Saint-Exupéry estate. From 27 to 29 June, the community of Saint Exupéry fans  will gather at the Collège des Bernardins (Paris V). A number of conferences and round-tables have been organised to provide a better understanding of current world events and projects relating to Saint-Exupéry and his work. Participants from the world of non-profit associations and business alike, publishers or writers, will each present their own vision or project linked to the author and airman.

Over the three days, everyone present will have a chance to better understand, encounter or rediscover the mind of Saint-Exupéry. Monday 29 June 2009, birthday of Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, will be marked by the launch of the  Fondation Antoine de Saint-Exupéry pour la Jeunesse. The foundation is intended to aid young people all over the world in areas such as access to education and employment.
