It was because of her that the Little Prince left his planet, and it was also for love of her that the Little Prince let the snake bite him. The rose is a key figure in the world of the Little Prince and for many she represents the women in Saint-Exupéry’s life: mother, sister, confidante, wife.

Here is an exclusive preview for you of the preliminary sketches of the rose made for the animated TV series. At the beginning of each episode, the rose reads the latest letter from the Little Prince… a nod to Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, who kept in touch with friends and loved ones by means of an abundant flow of correspondence.

Just like the rose in the book, this animated rose is the epitome of refinement and beauty. Actress Marie Gillain lends her voice to this central figure in the forthcoming series.
