The Little Prince Art Collection & The Little Prince In The Dark

Presented by Pacific Place for the first time in Hong Kong, The Little Prince Art Collection & The Little Prince In the Dark at Level L1 brings to life the illustrations of Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, author of The Little Prince. The exhibitions are the work of French artist Arnaud Nazare-Aga and his PAJ’Art studio and conceived in partnership with IWC Schaffhausen to support the Antoine de Saint-Exupéry Youth Foundation which perpetuates Saint-Exupéry’s legacy by supporting projects for underprivileged children around the world.

The Littlet Prince Art Collection features 13 resin sculptures, each one carrying a colourful interpretation of the characters and planets within The Little Prince story. Each figure has been molded and assembled, then painted and varnished, completely by hand.

A Christmas of wonder for all the senses continues with The Little Prince In the Dark – the second part of Nazare-Aga’s enchanting journey. In a darkened tunnel custom-built at Level L1, the 13 The Little Prince sculptures of Nazare-Aga are recreated in fluorescent white and glow under the tunnel’s black lights. These sculptures also offer a tactile experience of The Little Prince for those who are visually impaired to experience the story through touch and sound.

The Little Prince Art Collection and The Little Prince In The Dark run from 25 November 2015 to 1 January 2016, 11:30am to 8:30pm. During this time, shoppers can also extend their enjoyment to an IWC pop-up store at Level L3 showcasing the limited-edition The Little Prince watches, manuscripts of the story and photos of author Antoine de Saint-Exupéry. Don’t miss the chance to also capture your time within the Little Prince world on the IWC booth and get your personal souvenir picture!
